Privacy Policy
Unblank ("we", "us") is a desktop application that gives you live suggestions during your calls. This policy explains what data we collect, what we deliberately do not collect, and how we use what we have.
What we collect
- Account information. Your email address and a securely hashed password, stored with our authentication provider (Supabase).
- Trial and subscription status. Trial minutes remaining, trial start and expiry dates, and — once billing launches — your plan and subscription status.
- Usage metering. While a live session is running, the app reports the number of seconds used so we can meter your trial or plan minutes. We record durations only — never content.
- Product analytics. Lightweight events such as page visits, signups, email verifications, downloads, trial starts, and upgrade clicks. Visits from the website use a random browser identifier, not your name.
- Transactional email data. We use Brevo to send account emails (verification, password reset, trial notifications). Brevo processes your email address for delivery.
What we do not collect
- No call recordings. Audio is processed in real time to produce your next suggestion and immediately discarded. We never store audio.
- No call transcripts on our servers. Live transcription exists only during your session, on your machine and in transient AI processing.
- No briefs or playbooks. Your call briefs, profiles, and settings stay local to the desktop app on your computer.
- No selling of data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.
AI processing
To generate live suggestions, short audio segments and the working transcript of your current session are processed through our AI infrastructure for the duration of the session. This processing is transient: it produces the suggestion on your screen and is not used to build profiles of you or to train models on your calls.
Your responsibilities on calls
Depending on your jurisdiction, notifying or obtaining consent from call participants for transcription tools may be legally required. You are responsible for using Unblank in compliance with the laws that apply to your calls.
Where data lives
Account, trial, and analytics data is stored with Supabase. Transactional email is delivered through Brevo. Payments, once live, are processed by Lemon Squeezy — we never see or store your card details.
Data retention & deletion
Account data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at villarinodee@gmail.com and we will remove it within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note the new date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
